The rapper Jayceon Terrell “The Game” Taylor, mostly known for association with the former rap group G-Unit has quite a story to tell about his face tattoos. The “LA Dodgers” tattoo, which is pretty much “right there” is a cover-up of a former butterfly tattoo, that he got when he split from G-Unit.
“Man, it just represents new life [...] So, it’s all about new life,” he told in an interview. “I know mothafuckers is questionin’ my ethics on the tattoo, ‘cause, y’know, the shit is a butterfly on my cheek, but, y’know, you gotta know what it means."
He eventually covered it up with just the LA sign which he replied to,
“I woke up one morning and I was on my shit like I usually be, and I felt like I was the face of L.A. So I went to the tattoo shop and put L.A. on my face."
He then extended the LA tattoo with a red star, representing his hood and maybe his association with the Cedar Block Pirus gang. As he clarified it in an interview,
“Ain’t no meaning, man. I might wake up one day and put a cloud on the other side tomorrow man I don’t give a fuck man… I grew up in Cedar Block, a Blood hood. That’s where I’m from.
Last but not least; his teardrop. And we all know what means.
In an interview, he said, “I got the teardrop on some bad shit. Stupid shit, don’t even gotta go there..”
