An unknown prankster depicted Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican from Texas, as a tattooed male model on posters around Los Angeles. The artist posted the image at cool downtown clubs, in other words, areas where one would typically not think to see the middle-aged politician who was in town to accept an award from the conservative Claremont Institute. The image shows the stuffy conservative with new ink and a cut figure body. While Cruz seemed to not be bothered by the designer’s clever tattoo designs, he did point out a fallacy in the poster by Tweeting, “Saw this, but noticed an error. So I wanted to make one thing clear: I don’t smoke cigarettes.”
