Today’s tattoo of the day is this awesome piece by Canadian color realist Derek Turcotte. We fell in love with this fantastical creation and the steam punk vibe it gives off. Rather than going down the typical Victorian Era steam punk road, Turcotte took this piece to a whole new level and incorporated World War I era imagery, including a military helmet and gas mask. The mechanical aesthetic shines in this piece making it one of our favorites from Turcotte. To see more of this artist’s portfolio, check out his artist page and feature in Freshly Inked!
