No, Snoop Dogg wasn’t the first person to reference doggystyle in 1992. Doggy-style has been a long time favorite sex position for many. It’s part of the “rear entry” group of bedroom positions, which includes downward dog, froggy, and reverse cowgirl, etc. There are alternatives to the “standard” doggy-style position, like using a pillow under your stomach or even bending over a chair, so that you’ve got plenty of variety to get down the way the Ancient Romans intended.

According to a study from AskMen, America Googled doggy-style more than any other sex position. It's also, reportedly, most popular in Dallas.
