Once upon a time, Aaron Carter was one of the hottest tween stars on the planet. In fact, at the turn of the millennium, most teen girls in America had a poster of the "I Want Candy" singer hanging above their bed. However, like many kid stars, he went down a dark path and experienced numerous health struggles over the years. And to those who haven't kept tabs on Carter, you might be surprised to see what he looks like today. Namely, because he's becoming heavily tattooed.

Carter has become quite the tattoo collector as an adult and has a number of impressive large scale pieces, including work on his arms, chest and neck. However, this weekend, Carter made his biggest tattoo commitment yet by getting a large Medusa piece inked onto the side of his face.

For the tattoo, Carter sought out the skills of noted celebrity tattoo artist Herchell L Carrasco, who knows a thing or two about tattooing famous faces. Carrasco has tattooed a number of high profile clients over the years, including Tekashi 6ix9ine, Blueface and Lonzo Ball. Carrasco crafted an elegant Medusa piece, which many argue takes inspiration from a British GQ cover of Rihanna published in December of 2013.
