Super Bowl LIII was a mixed bag of excitement and disappointment. It made history as the lowest scoring game in NFL history and many were underwhelmed by the halftime show, which was headlined by Maroon 5.

During the performance lead singer Adam Levine took off his shirt to reveal his abs and collection of tattoos. Many memes were inspired by his tattoos, but one of the most viral trends pays homage to one section in particular.

The tattoo which gained the most buzz was the "California" inked on Levine's upper stomach. The visual inspired hundreds of copycats from around the country, each shouting out their home state pride.
