Following the box office success of 2016's "Suicide Squad," Harley Quinn has returned to the big screen for her very own spin-off, "Birds of Prey." The film is very focused on female empowerment, both on screen and off. Margot Robbie reprises her role as Harley Quinn and the DC Universe introduces Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya. The film is directed by Cathy Yan, a Chinese director who'd previously made short films. Yan is the second woman to direct a DC film, following Patty Jenkins' "Wonder Woman." "Birds of Prey" was written by Christina Hodson, who's also set to write 2022's "The Flash."

And the soundtrack is no exception, with each of the 15 tracks featuring a badass female musician. On February 7th, "Birds of Prey: The Album" will be released by Atlantic Records, the same day the film comes to theaters. The first single to be released was "Diamonds," by Megan Thee Stallion and Normani on January 10th, followed by "Jokes on You," by Charlotte Lawrence (January 17th), "Boss Bitch," by Doja Cat (January 24th) and "Sway with Me" by Saweetie and Galxara (January 31st).
