While we in the United States celebrate the 4th of July, Canadians have their special day on July 1st. Canada Day celebrates the unification of the Province of Canada, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, which occurred on July 1st, 1867 with the Constitution Act. Initially, this holiday was called Dominion Day, however it was renamed in 1982 with the Canada Act—leading to full Canadian sovereignty. Like America's 4th of July, Canada Day is typically observed through parades, fireworks, music festivals and barbecues.  However, the current pandemic will likely put a halt to these activities, leading many to celebrate in their own homes with a selected group of friends and family. Not to worry, we're still here to showcase some of Canada's best and brightest.

Some of the most talented tattoo artists and most stunning tattoo models hail from Canada. The Great White North has given rise to many artists throughout styles of realism, blackwork, neotraditional and dotwork, with unbelievable talent throughout the nation's provinces. And let's not forget the tattoo models, who're rocking gorgeous work and setting hearts a flutter from cities such as Montréal, Edmonton and Toronto. Take a quick look at a handful of the talented artists dominating Canada's tattoo scene and the tattooed babes this country has to offer in the gallery below, then let us know if you'll be observing Canada Day in the comments section on social media.
