50 Dope DreamWorks Tattoos
What's your favorite DreamWorks movie?
For over 20 years, DreamWorks has been creating amazing animated films. In fact, if you were born in the mid to late 1990s, they likely had a huge impact on your childhood. DreamWorks Pictures first film was “Antz,” released in 1998. There was quite a bit of controversy surrounding this film, as it aired the same year as Disney’s “A Bug’s Life.” Following “Antz,” DreamWorks released a number of well-received films in the following years, including “The Prince of Egypt” in 1998, “The Road to El Dorado” in 2000 and “Chicken Run” in 2000. Then, in 2001, they made it big with the release of “Shrek.” “Shrek” put DreamWorks on the map in a big way and led to a wildly successful franchise (with a fifth film currently in the works).
Following “Shrek,” DreamWorks continued to release successful franchise after successful franchise, including “Madagascar,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Trolls.” Even many of their “flop movies,” notably “Bee Movie” have become cult classics. DreamWorks has a number of computer-animated films coming to theaters in the next few years, including 2021’s “Spirit Untamed” and “The Boss Baby: Family Business,” as well as 2022’s “The Bad Guys” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.” And that doesn’t even include the handful of films currently in the works.
