Frances Bean Cobain is the daughter of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Hole frontwoman Courtney Love. Cobain was born on August 18th, 1992 and on April 8th, 1994 her father Cobain was found dead at the age of 27 in Seattle. Cobain spent her childhood between Seattle and Los Angeles and was raised by both her mother and grandmother. Cobain attending Bard College, where she studied art and today, she spends her days painting with watercolor, ink, and gouache.
However, painting isn't the only art form that Cobain appreciates. Like both her parents, Cobain is a tattoo collector and on April 8th, 2019 Los Angeles artist Winter Stone debuted her latest piece. This tattoo features freehand script which reads "It is in your self-interest to find a way to be very tender," a line from artist Jenny Holzer.
