Guys, let me let you in on a little secret. Halloween isn't the only holiday that inspires amazing tattoos. Christmas is one of our favorite holidays of the year and the tattoos are fantastically festive. If you're a big Christmas fan, there are so many different directions that you can go in—from Christmas trees to presents to elves to "Diehard." But one of our absolute favorites to see is reindeer.

Deer tattoos are very common in tattooing and reindeer tattoos bring a little something extra to the table. There are plenty of ways to interpret a reindeer into a tattoo, whether you go with something more realistic or cartoony. But, we're always stoked to see a Rudolph homage enter the mix.

If you're not familiar with the story of Rudolph, allow me to give you a little refresher. In the story, there are plenty of reindeer living at the North Pole who play reindeer games and pull Santa's sleigh around the world. These reindeer include, but are not limited to, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. Rudolph is the ninth and youngest reindeer of the group, who was ostracized from his peers because of his red nose. However, when it come time to deliver presents to kids around the world, Rudolph's glowing red nose comes in handy and he saves the day by leading the team through a harsh storm.

In popular culture, the most recognizable portrayal of this story on screen is the 1964 television special, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." This special was presented in stop motion and became an instantaneous Christmas classic.

In honor of Rudolph and all of the other reindeer, take a look at 60 of our favorite tattoos from talented tattoo artists around the world. Then let us know your favorite reindeer of the bunch in the comments section on social media.
