Shane Ray is a 25-year-old outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos. Ray played college football for the University of Missouri and was a first-round draft pick by the Broncos in 2015. That same year, the Broncos won Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers.
Not only is Ray decorated with a Super Bowl championship ring, but he's also heavily tattooed. Ray has two full sleeves, a full front piece, and has a back piece in honor of his hometown Kansas City. The latter design was crafted by Beverly Hills artist Katrina Jackson, who owns and operated Enigma Tattoo. Jackson has inked a number of high profile clients over the years, including actor Idris Elba and singer Faith Evans.
Over the weekend, Jackson completed her largest piece on the linebacker yet, finishing up a 26-hour leg sleeve. The tattoo was started a few weeks back at Enigma Tattoo, however, the bulk was inked at Ray's home in Denver. The piece is comprised of multiple warrior designs and according to TMZ Sports, it cost Ray approximately $10,000. However, based on the end result, we'd say it was worth every penny.
What do you think of Ray's badass tattoo? Would you pay $10,000 to get a tattoo? Let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section.
