Last July, a 13-year-old girl named Lucy McHugh was found stabbed to death in the woods two miles from her Southhampton home. The primary suspect? A 25-year-old tattoo artist named Stephen Nicholson who allegedly had an "interest in under-age sex."
He was brought to the Winchester Crown Court on June 18th, 2019 on charges of murder, as well as, three charges of rape and two charges of sexual activity with a child.


Nicholson pleaded not guilty to all charges and the prosecution began on June 20th, with the trial predicted to last up to six weeks.
