Adwoa Aboah’s Latest Tattoo is Full of Girl Power

The. Best. Feminist. Tattoo. Ever.

Tattoo artists across the country have had an influx of customers requesting feminist tattoos in the wake of President Donald Trump’s “grab her by the pussy” debacle, with the phrase “nevertheless, she persisted” being one of the most popular, but the tiny, dainty tattoo JonBoy gave British model Adwoa Aboah this week is definitely one of the best we’ve seen.

A couple of months ago, in a video campaign for the British royal family’s mental health charity Heads Together, Aboah opened up about her struggles with addiction and mental illness, which led to a suicide attempt in 2015, and which inspired her to develop Gurls Talk, a movement that “strives to create a platform where girls can openly share their experiences in a safe and trusting environment.” According to its mission statement, Gurls Talk is comprised of women “working together to create a community of girls from all different backgrounds looking beyond external differences and focusing on the essence of what it means to be a girl in the 21st century.”
