David Beckham Adds Another Tattoo to His Massive Collection

David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, got his very first tattoo earlier this month, and Beckham himself took advantage of the opportunity to add to his own collection, opting for a new tattoo on his shin courtesy of Shamrock Social Club owner, Mark Mahoney. The fresh ink, which covers nearly the whole front portion of his right shin, is located just above the massive ankle tattoo he had done by Mahoney just last year.

A Legend at Work

It was on April 6, that Beckham posted an in-progress photo of his shin tattoo on Instagram, captioning the snap, “Nice little shin piece with the legend Mark Mahoney,” and then showed off the final product on his Instagram story. While the 41-year-old husband and father of four tends to favor religious-themed tattoos and pieces dedicated to his family, like his Bible passage ribcage tattoo, the large angel tattoo on his upper right arm, and his various tributes to Victoria and the kids, the ink on his shin has a more unique design, featuring a Japanese-style image of a woman playing the flute.
